Giraween National Park Girraween is situated approximately 260km by road south-west of Brisbane. Map http://www.epa.qld.gov.au/parks_and_forests/find_a_park_or_forest/girraween_national_park/ We visited the park on our way to Brisbane in September 2006. Because of its proximity to Brisbane, the park is popular with day visitors. Camp ground facilities are good with hot showers and camping sites are quite adequate for tents, caravan or campervan. We did a short walk of about 35mins to the Granite Arch.
