This tagalong will allow you to join the benefits of local knowledge and adventure through discovery without the expense of having a paid guide during the whole experience.

We will travel Tasmania from North to south, east to west over 14 days and share the best weather Tasmania has to offer.

We will explore National Parks, State Reserves and places few people visit. We will explore the coast and have the opportunity to experience some of the more rugged coastline on offshore cruise options.

I have negotiated the skills of local guides where appropriate to give this group and unforgettable experience of Tasmania’s wildlife and natural environment. John Bowden, Alan Fletcher, Tonia Cochrane and other local specialists have been recruited to assist. It is more than a birding trip. My love of the natural world will influence my leadership and you will be encouraged to share your knowledge and experiences with all who participate.

We have 18 participants in this trip.

Please address your enquiries to Jon Hosford jhosford@bigpond.net.au

Download a proposed itinerary and map here. You will need to make personal bookings for transport to Tasmania on the evening of February 15th and return on the evening of March 1st. All other bookings will be arranged by me once numbers are definite.

Be adventurous. Come and Tasalong with us.
